研究概要
1.天然物の生合成
streptomyces属由来の芳香族ポリケタイドの生合成やNRPSの生合成研究を行なっている。また、生合成研究により得られた知見を元に、非天然物をコンビナトリアル生合成によって生産することも研究している。[1]
2.生体触媒、酵素エンジニアリング
医薬品の合成、半合成に用いることのできるような生体触媒の研究を行っている。[2]
3.生体材料
癌治療、イメージング、リプログラミングなどの応用を視野に入れた、様々な生体分子の細胞、モデル動物への輸送法の開発を行っている。
